.WAV sound files can be started at various moments during a MovAlyzeR trial and selectable per condition (See Condition Properties >Events/Sounds.

(1) You will need a sound generator, e.g.,
o Web-based (Can crash the browser, and watch for internet delays and minimize processor load), e.g., http://simple.bestmetronome.com/
o Downloadable (Download from trustworthy site AND use virus and spyware detector, and minimize processor load), e.g., http://www.musebook.com/?page=mbmetronome
NOTE: Start the recording BEFORE and stop AFTER the desired moments and edit in the sound recorded.

(2) Sound recorder and editor, e.g.,
o MS Windows Sound Recorder (up to 60 sec) (Start >All programs >Accessories >Entertainment >Sound Recorder)
o If not installed, download (from trustworthy site AND use virus and spyware detector, and minimize processor load), e.g., http://download.cnet.com/Free-Sound-...-10698910.html
o Run a program that can record streaming audio, e.g., http://www.sell-shareware.com/realrecorder/

(3) Of course you can use speakers and mic to record but this yields background and distortion.
Better is to record the internal sound source: Line In, or CD, and not Mic.
If the recording program shows no options to select the input source:
Start >Control Panel >Sounds and Audio Devices >Audio
This yields the Recording Control dialog,
Under Sound recording select default device or click Volume and check the preferred Input Device (e.g., Line In)
Set Voluem to Max.
Then close and click OK.
NOTE: Reset Input Device when done.

(4) Edit the the recording by cutting out the lead time at the beginning. (At the end is mostly not relevant).
Store as WAV file.
The recording programs offer editing options.

(5) Insert the WAV file in the Condition Properties >Events and Sounds
