Condition Visual Feedback Settings

Visual Feedback

o Rotation and gain changes in the visual feedback during recording can be implemented using these features.

1. End recording when max. strokes is reached: If this option is chosen, the number of strokes produced are counted during recording and when the specified maximum number of strokes are reached, the recording stops. The maximum number of strokes is specified in the consistency checking tab of the condition properties.

2. Hide the pen/mouse drawings (until end): If this option is chosen, it is possible to set the parameters (using the following options) to modify the timing of the visibility of the visual feedback during recording. (e.g., delayed feedback)

Change the visibility: Choose 'Show' or 'Hide after' and the time ___ (in seconds or strokes) at which the recording until then is shown or hidden on the display.

3. Transform the recording (Gain and rotation): If any gain and rotation changes are to be imposed on the feedback, check this option and specify the required values. Default is 1,0,1,0 for X gain, X rotation, Y gain, and Y rotation, respectively.

4. Select feedback method for processed data charts

A feedback item can be added to the condition, by which, a color spectrum can be introduced to the processed data charts of the trials under that condition. The feedback items will be available to all the experiments in the user and can be selected per condition. Click here to learn how to make a feedback item and examples.
